Event Summary
A summary of the 2023 EO is provided below. Each competitor ran in the Team and Individual events.
Congratulations to the ATC EO competitors who faced challenging courses with finely tuned skills and handling.
Each and everyone went for it on course, achieved personal bests, had brilliant moments, and represented Canada with determination and sportsmanship. The best part is that team members always completed their runs thrilled with their accomplishments with their dogs.
ATC is proud to be represented by this team and all they achieved.
Small Dog Category
The Small team comprised 5 experienced competitors and 2 teams:

The courses were complex and offered challenges that our Small teams took head on and were well prepared for. The hardest sections of the courses were executed brilliantly.
Roxane and Gotcha! made it in the Individual Finals with beautiful clean runs.
Medium Dog Category
The Medium (aka the Magical Mediums) team was also made up of seasoned competitors many with previous EO experience:

They were focused on the game, excited to play, and put everything on the line!
Kristin and Ballistic Beast ran in the Individual Finals making the top 18 in Individual Jumping to earn their finals ticket.
Intermediate Dog Category
The Intermediate division was introduced to the EO this year for the first time, and is for dogs that measure 43 cm or more and less than 48 cm at the withers. Many of the Intermediate dogs had competed in the Large category in previous EO events. Intermediate competitors included:

These competitors were excellent at sharing their knowledge with the "first timers" in the group. This helped everyone concentrate on preparing for the challenges, and running the courses.
Brittany Holland and Lyric qualified for Individual Finals and had a beautiful run.
Large Dog Category
The Large category was represented by experienced competitors, many who had run at EO before. The teams were as follows:

A combination of fierce skills and competitive focus defined these competitors. The courses were challenging and fast.
Kirstin O'Neill and Pinnacle Penguin represented Canada in the Individual Finals qualifying with a top 18 run in Individual Jumping.
